We upgrade every home with smart home technology and keyless front door entry before you move in. Before move-in day, you will receive instructions for setting up an account with Rently, the technology that powers our keyless entry systems. After midnight Central Time on the day of your move-in, you will receive a temporary front door access code. Once you've used the code, you'll be able to change it. Say farewell to lost keys!
We make it easy! Our Leasing Team will send you an email with a secure link to sign your lease electronically. Voila!
Avoid scams and fraudsters by making sure you only engage with emails from a verified Elara Leasing team member with an "elara.one" email address.
Once you have signed your lease, download the Elara Resident App to pay the security deposit and first month's rent by following the prompts to "Set Up Payments" using either a bank account or credit card. (Please note, credit card payments will be charged a 3% fee by our payments processor.) If you don't have an iOS or Android device, please log into the Elara Resident Portal online instead and follow the instructions to set up payments.
Elara will never ask you to wire money.

Yes, we require all of our residents to have renter's insurance throughout the duration of their Elara lease. If you need to shop for a policy, you can get a competitively-priced quote from our friends at Second Nature using this link.
When you get your policy, please add the official name of our parent company, "Picket Property Management" as an "additional interested party" using our full name and address:

After midnight Central Time on the day of your move, Elara will text you the code to the smart lock on your front door. Once you’re inside the home, head to the Elara Resident App to fill out the move-in inspection form. Please also make sure to upload your proof of Renters Insurance to Second Nature here, and then take a deep breath!
